Qualification and advising to get into business
for unemployed and migrants
|
Immigrants in Germany demonstrate an above-average
willingness to go into business for themselves.
Yet this same group in particular often runs into
trouble when founding a business because they
may have insufficient knowledge of both the German
language and how to navigate the German authorities.
In many cases, they also lack the required professional
qualifications.
The primary objective of the range of services
provided by ASM is to make founding a business
easier for immigrants through advising, support
and advanced training, and thus contribute to
their success. Criteria for participating in the
project are simple: a quality business idea and
aptitude and dedication on the part of the would-be
business founder. Our services are aimed at promoting
women with immigration backgrounds in particular,
giving them the courage to go into business for
themselves.
German citizens who want to start a business
and receive level II unemployment benefits can
also participate in the project.
The focal point of our counselling services is
on all aspects of the start-up phase. We also
offer workshops for the consolidation phase that
explore improving one's qualifications as a new
entrepreneur and "emergency advising"
as well.
The range offered by the "project qualification
and advising to get into business for unemployed
and migrants" project include in detail:
- Thorough individual
advising on all issues regarding planning a
business
- Development of business
plans
- Advanced training
in seminars (market and location analysis, bookkeeping
and much more)
This
project is supported by the city of Hamburg.
